Description
Sodium Chlorite powder, 80%*. 200g makes about 437ml of solution.
*80% is the highest concentration available for sodium chlorite due to the way it is manufactured. The remaining 20% is mostly sodium chloride. All sodium chlorite starts off as flakes but is usually ground up to make handling and measuring easier. A 28% (w/w) solution will produce 22.4% sodium chlorite concentration. Dilution instructions are provided.
Note: Sodium chlorite naturally has impurities; after dissolving in water a fine grayish sediment will slowly start to settle to the bottom – we recommend you let the solution settle for at least 24 hours and then pour off the clarified solution for use.
Note: Not evaluated by the TGA. Not approved or allowed for therapeutic, supplement or medicinal use. Do not use undiluted and keep out of reach of children. Can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea if consumed.
